This also hints at the imminent arrival of the E-clutch variant of the inline four Honda 650 in India. Thew E-clutch technology was first revealed in October 2023, which includes features of quickshifter manual clutch and Honda's dual-clutch transmission.

What is E-clutch technology?

The E-clutch is such a smart technology that it allows the rider to easily shift up or down the gears without using the clutch lever. In this system the motorcycle itself automatically engages and disengages the clutch so that the rider does not need to operate the clutch while changing gears. The bike can be started and stopped without any hassle. The Honda CBR650R E-clutch offers three gear shift modes: hard, medium, and soft.
